The Urgent Need for Tort Reform in Georgia: MAG's Strategy

Georgia once again has the undesirable distinction of being named the 2023 Number 1 Judicial Hellhole in the country. Georgia physicians are all too aware of the financial, personal, and professional cost of such a designation.

MAG's presentation will provide an overview of the current medical liability crisis in Georgia, its causes, and its impacts on the practice of medicine within the state. Mr. Bonfini and Mr. Walker will cover MAG’s strategy for addressing the crisis on behalf of Georgia’s patients and physicians by outlining a three-pronged approach to adapting to the current environment with asset protection strategies, advocating at the Capitol for new laws, and supporting physicians in the court system.
